The purpose of the County Veterans Service Office is to assist veterans and their dependents in applying for and navigating the maze of the various federal, state and county programs offered to the veteran and his or her family.

The VA provides a wide range of benefits including programs to benefit veterans and members of their families. Benefits include compensation payments for disabilities or death related to military service, pensions, Insurance, education, and rehabilitation.

The VA also guarantees home loans, provides burial services for veterans, and operates a medical care program that includes nursing homes, clinics, and medical centers. Location & Hours

Ground floor (North West corner) Courthouse. The hours are from 8:00 to 4:30 with an hour for lunch. You can drop in anytime but it's advised, since I am the only one in the office, to call ahead. I will also make an effort to assist you after normal working hours.
